Exercising Self Control today – Proverbs 25:28
While reading and praying the prayer for today, I remembered something I was told as a child: “Discipline will occur until you are able to have self-discipline. Exercise self control and you won’t find yourself on this end of the spankings!”
While I was praying for my husband to be reminded by the Holy Spirit of how we are to walk and operate in the spirit and not in the flesh, I was reminded I am empowered by God to say NO to my own flesh in the cases of temptation!
And I am continuing to pray and meditate on Proverbs 25:28.
